Just a few photos from last Sunday’s engagement shoot. This is my niece and her fiance Angel. They are getting married October 8th, two days before I’m due to have Olive. Yes, I plan on shooting the wedding. Uh-huh.
Don’t worry, I’ll have a back-up if Olive wants to arrive early.

Karo - I love this bag! I would use it to carry the million bucks I’d feel like if I owned it. And I would leap and skip down the streets of Dallas, flinging wads of cash at unsuspecting passers-by.

Lori - That wonderful bag would be used to carry: 1 holga camera, 1 pair of sunglasses, 4 rolls of film, 1 ten dollar bill + 1 drivers license , 1 mint chocolate flavoured lip gloss, 1 instax mini polaroid camera, 2 rolls of film and 1 bottle of water. All for a nice long bike ride on my new cruiser along the river in my pretty city.
Robin - Awesome bag! I’d carry my D700, phone and wallet in there. I’d probably throw in a little bag of Cheerios to keep my little one happy, too.
Erin - I would actually surprise my fiancée with this as a wedding gift because we both love to spend time wandering around with our cameras. He’d put his digital SLR and film camera in there with all of his little gadgets, too! I’d imagine the bike lock would often be in there, along with his wallet and any other accouterments to help us on our adventures!

this would be great for all my instant needs – i would carry my polaroid slr 680, the fuji instax, and an extra pack of instax film. i may also squeeze in my little 35mm (the minolta x370s) and some medium format film because the contax is probably living on my shoulder hehe. then definitely a moleskine and iphone!

I WILL NOT put my wallet inside because that immediately transforms it from a messenger bag to a purse. The wallet stays in my pocket.

start by saying that I have my own Emera, I live in Italy and I have not yet found its worthy rival. I bought it two months ago, but fell in love for much longer.
So I’m writing because, being very satisfied, and being out a unisex collection, I thought to buy one to my partner for his birthday, in July. He is passionate about photography like me, and often we use my Emera, to take away with us two of our cameras, but having to leave home the others cameras. So one day, I wish he had the pleasure of using an Emera bag, to make full use of its facilities.
So to answer on his behalf, to your question, I would say that in his Emera messenger, he carries with him: his digital camera, its DianaF + flash and color filters, film stock, notebook for sketches, some crunchy (useful to attract cats to take photos of) keys, wallet and why not, a multipurpose boxcutter… But far from the cameras

Corina - I love this bag! As of now I use my stork sac (diaper bag) as my camera bag. My husband bought me a huge ugly promaster *sorry hunny* It would also be great cuz he could carry it too!! I would carry my d700 50mm, cell, and a couple diapers and wipes and i’d be good to go!
Annie - I have a huge camera backpack but it is falling apart after 3 years of hardcore backpacking in places. I am traveling again this coming June but don’t want to carry a huge backpack with me. I’d carry my camera with 50mm and close up lenses. Also: moleskine, keys, pens, candy & snacks, wallet and that’s pretty much it

Kathy - Honestly, when a bag looks that good, who cares what’s in it! Those are absolutely my favorite colors and I am in love. But for the sake of answering the question…the camera and necessary accoutrements, ipod, phone, keys and journal. And if all that won’t fit, then just the camera and to hell with the rest

It was interesting to chance upon your work a few weeks back and i been coming back.Currently i use a Lowepro to carry my equipment which fits in on my back , but i had been missing somthing that i can carry around town and during my short trips,something where my camer and lenses are easily reachable.The Emera bag was a real suprise package to find…but i kept wondering about the space between the closing flap because in Indian conditions dust can attack the camera body and lenses quickly.But the second version looks to have addressed what i was worried about…so here is my pick of what would go in – my camera body Canon EOS 7D, Canon 18-135 mm and Sigma 10-20mm along with CF cards,a small tub of moisturiser,lip gloss and sunglasses.On a birding trip in the city outskirts in the weekend, i would of course prefer to exchange the small lenses with my Canon prime 300mm along with its teleconverter!!!
