telluride

Once again, we are highly anticipating our annual trip to the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. One of the best musical festivals of the summer season and always on the summer solstice. Last year (2012), we drove  to Telluride, stopping in Yosemite for one night, driving through Nevada (the most boring part of the trip, except for the The Ale-Inn on the extratrestrial highway), then onward through Utah with a few fabulous stops before getting to Telluride.  This year, we will make the trip via airplane and car, skipping Nevada. Ha!

These are some of the images from last year in Telluride (sorry this post is extra photo heavy). I cannot wait to make more memories this year. It is always a hoot with my family.

  • Enjoy your time in Telluride and Colorado. It seems to be the one spot that isn’t on fire right now.

  • It was the same last year, fires throughout Colorado. Sad. I can’t believe it’s happening again this year.

  • Haha! I’ve never been to Nevada and you’re making me think I haven’t missed anything. Olive is so tiny and fuzzy! So cute. I’m totally in love with that final reflection photograph. Can’t wait to see what you capture on this year’s trip…
