I always feel funny sharing vacation photos. Who really wants to view another person’s vacation, espesially if they are sharing 1000 images — I didn’t shoot 1000 images, luckily. Although, I have edited down the images, it is still a photo heavy post.
Here are the images that show the essence of our trip.

We recently traveled to the east coast to visit my husband’s family in New Jersey. While there, we carved out a couple of days to visit NYC. Top on our list was Maison Premiere in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Entering Maison Premiere was like stepping back in time, the interior impeccably designed, all the way down to the paint on the walls (which seemed more like layers of beautifully aged stains), leather bench seats, bent wood cafe chairs, and stylish mixologists and waitstaff with bowties and long waist bistro chef aprons.
They are known for their oyster bar and excellent selection of absinthe. We sampled their brunch menu, oysters and various cocktails. Perfection would be the best decriptive term to describe Maison Premiere, all the way down the service. No need to say more.
I think San Francisco is prime for it’s own Maison Premiere.

Maui, lovely in all the shades of cyan.
One of my favorite David Austin roses that I grow on my deck. I would love a few more to grow and cut throughout the season.
